the Bisto Book of the Year Award, and have won or been shortlisted for many other prizes. The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas has spent 76 weeks at no.1 in Ireland, was the bestselling book of both 2007 and 2008 in Spain, and was a no.1 bestseller in the UK, Australia and many other countries worldwide. In November 2008 it reached #1 on the New York Times Bestsellers. To date, it has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide.

One of my novels, The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas, was made into a Miramax feature film. It is currently on release in the UK, Ireland, Spain and the USA.
