I studied English Literature at Trinity College, Dublin, and
Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia. I've won 2 Irish Book Awards, the Bisto Book of the Year Award, and have won or been shortlisted for many other international literary prizes. My novels
are published in 41 languages. |
The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas spent over 80 weeks at no.1 in Ireland, was the bestselling book of both 2007 and 2008 in Spain, and was a no.1 bestseller in the UK, Australia and many other countries worldwide. Worlwide, it was the no.6 bestselling novel of 2008. It also reached #1 on the New York Times Bestsellers List. To date, it has sold more than 5 million copies worldwide. |

UK in May 2009. International release dates continue over
